Relaxation and art: Midissage in the MultiGenerationsHouse Celle!

Next Wednesday, August 20, 2025, the MehrGenerationenHaus Celle invites you to a special event. From 12 p.m. to 1:30 p.m., the picture meeting is open to all art enthusiasts and curious people who want to relax in a cozy atmosphere and exchange ideas with others over a small snack. Celle press reports that guests have the opportunity to discover a variety of images or to talk directly to the exhibitors.

This event is part of the initiative that was launched as part of the federal program "Multigenerational House. Together - For Each Other". Since January 1, 2021, there have been offers that promote coexistence between generations. Around 530 such houses are being funded nationwide in order to strengthen social cohesion and create equal living conditions in Germany. The Multi-Generation House in Celle offers a place of meeting and exchange for all age groups.

Diverse offers for all generations

The MehrGenerationenHaus not only serves as a venue for art events, but also as a resource for the population. Among other things, it supports the compatibility of family, care and work. Digital training for citizens and advisory services are also part of the extensive range of services. These measures are intended to overcome loneliness and promote participation and engagement.

The aim of these offerings is to work with municipalities and social partners to develop a diverse program that is relevant in both rural and urban areas. The Federal Ministry for Education, Family, Senior Citizens, Women and Youth is behind the initiative, which assumes responsibility and coordination of the multi-generational houses.

Be it at the Midissage in the Bildertreff or in the regular offerings of the MehrGenerationenHaus - the doors are open to everyone who is looking for exchange and community. If this doesn't sound like a great opportunity to make new friends and enjoy art, we don't know what is!
