Last week the community of Stuhr was once again shaken by criminal activity. Between Saturday and Monday, unknown perpetrators broke into two companies in Brinkum-Nord. According to that Weser courier Copper cables worth around 7,000 euros were stolen from a hall under construction. In the second case, the burglars targeted a car dealership on Gottlieb-Daimler-Strasse.
The perpetrators went on a thieving spree here on the night from Sunday to Monday. They stole not only a television from the workshop, but also several reading devices. Various tools and a cash box were also taken from the vehicle company's office. The total damage amounts to tens of thousands of euros, which makes the situation even more difficult for the affected companies. The Weyhe police are asking for information on 0421/80660.
Burglary and shoplifting
The burglaries in Stuhr are not the only criminal incidents causing excitement in the area. There was a violent confrontation in Weyhe on Monday afternoon. A 22-year-old was observed shoplifting in a REWE store on Leester Strasse and is said to have resisted when he was banned from the premises. When the police subsequently intervened, the man became aggressive and tried to hit and spit on the officers. But it's not just crime that makes headlines. There was also a traffic accident in Syke on Monday afternoon.
