In Gamsen, the sports offering for all age groups will soon be enriched with an exciting project. Thanks to funding from the LEADER program, the town will receive an impressive 125,000 euros to build a multifunctional area that offers new play and sports opportunities. The plans call for MTV Gamsen to transform a disused sports facility into an attractive meeting place. This is not only intended to counteract the clubs' stagnating membership growth, but also to create a space that is open to the entire population. Interestingly, the sporting facilities on the pitch should be available to use free of charge, without the mandatory requirement of club membership.
Diverse sports facilities
A variety of sports options are planned on the new multifunctional field. The following are planned:
