Historical meeting of princes: Queen Luise enchants Bad Pyrmont!

Bad Pyrmont is blooming! From July 4th to 6th, 2025, the traditional event will take place in the picturesque spa parkHistorical meetings of princestakes place, which offers a colorful program and attracts visitors of all ages. The special highlight: Entry to the spa park is free on both days, so no one has to miss out on this treat. The event will be ceremonially opened on Friday at 5:00 p.m. by “Queen Luise of Prussia”, portrayed by Melanie Hessel-wennemann. Afterwards there is an enchanting dance piece by the ballet ensemble of the Pyrmont Music School, and the music group SoWhat ensures lively evenings reports the Dewezet.

On Saturday, July 5th, things will get lively in the spa gardens: from 11:00 a.m., guests can stroll through time and meet numerous historical personalities who have come together especially for the event. The program highlights range from jazzy sounds to a royal picnic to the thrilling bird of prey air show at 4 p.m. A special highlight is the insight into Queen Luise's love letters at 1 p.m. The royal atmosphere is rounded off by a ladies' waltz and musical performances. There will also be festive dancing with SoWhat in the evening shows the Pyrmont state spa.

Tradition in the heart of Bad Pyrmont

Bad Pyrmont has established itself as one of the most traditional holiday resorts in Germany. It is thanks to historical personalities such as Queen Luise, who procured champagne from Kassel for her guests in the 18th century, and Tsar Peter the Great, who came to Bad Pyrmont with his entourage of 300 men, that the town is still a popular meeting place for those interested in culture and history today represents Bad Pyrmont.

The highlight of the historical meeting of princes is the big parade on Sunday, which starts at 2:30 p.m. and connects the spa gardens with the city center.
