Jazz has a tradition in Bevern, and there will soon be a special occasion for all music lovers to shake a leg. On Sunday, August 31st, the Friends of Bevern Castle from 11 a.m. for a jazz breakfast in the picturesque castle courtyard. That was foundedSolling Swing Orchestrain 1983 by 20 amateur musicians from Uslar. With bandleaderPeter Kaltenhäuserwith an exciting new singer at the forefront, the musicians want to conquer the ears and hearts of the listeners in the castle courtyard. The repertoire includes not only well-known swing and jazz ballads, but also classics from greats likeGlenn Miller,Duke EllingtonandBenny Goodman, as well as modern titles from the rock and pop world.
