A serious incident occurred on Friday evening, July 13, 2025, in Cloppenburg, which moved the minds of local residents. A 17-year-old teenager from Molbergen was attacked by two unknown men at around 10 p.m. on the site of a former garbage dump in the Stapelfeld district. Her companion, an acquaintance, was also present at the time of the crime and was involved in the argument. Reports from NDR and n-tv make it clear that the attackers brutally beat the two, which resulted in serious injuries to the young woman. Despite her injuries, the 17-year-old was able to go to the hospital on her own.
The perpetrators were able to escape undetected and the police immediately launched an investigation into grievous bodily harm.
