Final of the Coupe de France: Bandrélé vs. Iloni – Who will win the title?

Next Saturday, October 12, 2025, the M’tsahara Stadium will be the venue for two exciting football finals. In the first game, the U18 teams USCJ Koungou and FC Ylang de Koungou will face each other in the final of the Coupe de Mayotte at 11:00 a.m. This match will not only be broadcast live on television, but also on radio and via social media on Mayotte la 1ère, making it the first live broadcast of a U18 final on television. USCJ Koungou fought its way into the final after a dramatic penalty shootout against Pamandzi SC. The youth teams are eager for the title and will do their best to leave the others behind.

After a well-deserved break at midday, the eagerly awaited final game of the Coupe de France régionale follows at 2:30 p.m. There the unbeaten players from Bandrélé FC meet the up-and-coming players from Espérance d’Iloni. Bandrélé FC has confidently established itself as the leaders of Régionale 1 and emerged victorious 1-0 in the semi-final against FC Chiconi. Their opponents, on the other hand, Espérance d'Iloni, who are taking on the new challenge after being promoted to the first division, also won 1-0 against M'zoizia in the semi-finals. This encounter promises great football and also the opportunity to become the successor to the Diables Noirs de Combani.

Looking forward to exciting encounters

While the first final is intended for the U18s, a special event awaits all football fans: Bandrélé FC has played its entire season undefeated and will certainly come out with a big chest. The first meeting this season ended with a 2-0 win for Bandrélé. However, Espérance d'Iloni, currently in 7th place, has the motivation and support of their fans, who cheer loudly for the team on the artificial turf. In addition, the sports community is particularly critical of the issue of respect for referees after incidents of violence against referees were reported in the past.

In the run-up to these exciting encounters, in addition to sport, the Koungou municipality places great emphasis on training and promoting coaching work, which shows how important local football is for the community. Fans should mark the dates in red on their calendars because these games are a must! Whether in the stadium or in front of the screen – it will be a football festival!
