There was great excitement again in the TSV Uesen sports park last weekend. The Weser courier reports on the 13th edition of the popular Rewe Cup, in which 80 teams from the region competed against each other in the U7 to U11 age groups. The atmosphere was full of positive energy, and without any injuries - a real stroke of luck for everyone involved!
The games were organized by Nils Kutsch, Marcel Steinführer and Ole Dobberstein, who made the event a real success with a dedicated team of over 50 helpers from all departments of the club. The games were characterized by fairness, technical quality and, above all, by a remarkable effort that captivated the spectators.

A special highlight of the tournament was the award for the best players and goalkeepers in each age group, which gave the young kickers additional motivation. The tournament's patron, the REWE market in Achim-Uesen, under the direction of Markus Hauptig, actively supported the event.
The outlook for the next edition
The preparations for the 14th Rewe Cup next year have already begun, which managing director Moussa Lailo from TSV Uesen was also pleased to note. "We are pleased that the tournament is so well received. This shows that football is very popular in our region," he said.
For everyone who wants to be part of the action themselves, the tournament will take place again on June 14th and 15th, 2025, with numerous teams expected on the artificial turf again.
