Honor for loyal members: Nordenham Kneipp Association celebrates anniversaries!

On July 9, 2025, the members of the Nordenham Kneipp Association came together on Midgardstrasse for a special afternoon. The focus was on an exciting lecture by Dieter Winkler, who took the listeners back to Nordenham in 1940 with pictorial flashbacks. The event not only offered educational insights into the past, but also an opportunity to honor long-standing members for their loyalty to the club. Certificates and bouquets of flowers were presented to those celebrating an anniversary who have strongly identified with the Kneipp association over the years.

The first chairwoman, Christel Barre, and the fresh air team honored the event in a fitting manner. They recognized deserving members who have achieved impressive membership tenures:

Kneipp philosophy in action

The Kneipp Association is not only a meeting place, but also part of the largest non-commercial health organization in Germany, the Kneipp Association. This includes more than 1,200 Kneipp associations, which are visited by around 200,000 people every day. The organization aims to promote healthy living through a lifestyle close to nature and offers numerous health options for all age groups.

Sebastian Kneipp's philosophy is based on five pillars: water, exercise, nutrition, medicinal plants and order of life. These elements are also part of the programs and activities offered by the association. Members benefit from lectures, exercise sessions and relaxation courses that support a holistic approach to health and well-being. The Kneipp Association is also involved in many areas of life in order to sustainably revitalize the Kneipp elements and integrate them into society.

Anyone interested is welcome to join the Kneipp association, which not only maintains the tradition but also actively contributes to health promotion. The diverse offerings and the community make the club a valuable part of local society. Stop by and find out more about the positive effects of the Kneipp philosophy!
