A look at the Abitur statistics

The Abitur is considered the highest school qualification in Germany and is a prerequisite for access to universities and other higher educational institutions. According to current statistics, around 259,300 high school graduates were counted nationwide in 2022. In this context, it is worth noting that the failure rate has increased in recent years; in the final year of 2023 it was 4.6% - the highest value since 2010. The focus on education remains highly variable due to the state matter with different regulations.

In summary, it can be said that the 2025 high school graduates in Wolfsburg have a lot to celebrate. Whether at the Ratsgymnasium, at the Heinrich-Nordhoff-Gesamtschule or at the Fallersleben High School - the proud graduates can look back on a successful school time and are now getting ready for the next challenges in their studies or professional life. We warmly congratulate you!
