A serious traffic accident caused a stir on Evinger Straße in Dortmund on June 14, 2025. At around 7 p.m. there was a serious incident in which a man was trapped in his car. The dramatic scenes attracted numerous onlookers who did not hesitate to take photos and videos of the injured people and thus disrupt the work of the rescue workers. A total of four people were injured in the accident. While the seriously injured driver was trapped in his vehicle and had to be freed using technical equipment, the three other slightly injured people were able to get out of the car on their own. The seriously injured driver was immediately taken to a hospital as his condition appeared to be serious. The fire and rescue services were on site with up to 40 emergency services to help as quickly as possible and the entire operation ended around 8:15 p.m. Due to the accident, Evinger Straße was completely closed and a replacement rail service was set up, as was the City News reports.
