From June 19th to 22nd, 2025, Düsseldorf will be transformed into a colorful center of diversity and tolerance. On the occasion of this year'sChristopher Street Day (CSD)A large street festival is celebrated at Johannes-Rau-Platz under the motto “Love unites – hate destroys”. Admission to the celebrations is free and promises a variety of events for young and old.
Pride weekend begins with a film night on Corpus Christi, which marks the start of the celebrations. On Thursday evening, June 19th, the film “Priscilla – Queen of the Desert” will be shown on the main stage from 8:30 p.m. A special highlight on Saturday is the traditional demonstration through the city center, in which several thousand participants are expected.
A colorful program for everyone

Music and talks for all interests
An exciting stage program also awaits visitors from Friday to Sunday. Music acts such as Oke from Luxembourg, Aron Pinter, who is known from “The Voice of Germany”, and Leonora, the ESC preliminary finalist, will perform. The program is rounded off with talks on the new self-determination law, queer activism and many other topics that affect the Düsseldorf community.
