In the heart of Cologne, in the Neumarkt district, things are bubbling with creativity: The UFO, a remarkable room of the Deutsche Oper am Rhein, has become a melting pot for art lovers and the curious. Here, where community and culture meet, the new participatory musical theater “The Taste of Love” is born. The play will premiere on Friday, June 20, 2025 at 6 p.m.

“The Taste of Love”, under the musical direction of Julia Mihály and directed by Franziska Kronfoth, is more than just a play. It invites viewers to think about the nature of love. The ticket prices are quite affordable - for 10 euros (reduced 5 euros) those interested can become part of this extraordinary music theater experience.
