Robbie Williams rocks Gelsenkirchen: mega party for the tour premiere!

On June 25, 2025 the time has come: Robbie Williams will perform in the Veltins Arena in Gelsenkirchen. The city is in a celebratory mood and is planning a big party around the concert that will be anything but tranquil. The city center is transformed into “Robbie's territory”, where a rousing music program and numerous merchandise stands await fans. It will also be photogenic: selfie stations with a cardboard Robbie are available, and visitors can sing the star's greatest hits together with others. The anticipation for the evening is palpable, as the concert is the start of seven performances in Germany as part of his tour.

The show will start at 7:30 p.m., but the arena opens its doors at 4 p.m. The tickets are in high demand, with a few remaining tickets still available. The prices are between 144.84 euros for standing room and up to 167.84 euros for seats. The special guest duo “Lottery Winners” will be particularly fun and will get the fans in the mood for the main act. Musikexpress has already put together a possible setlist that includes numerous classics such as “Angels”, “Let Me Entertain You” and “Feel”, and also contains some surprises such as covers of “My Way” and “Come Undone”.

Arrival and weather

Getting to the Veltins Arena is easier thanks to the reopened Gelsenkirchen-Schalke motorway exit on the A42, which was previously closed due to construction work. Up to 14,000 parking spaces are available to visitors, and those who want to travel in an environmentally friendly way can take tram line 302, which leads directly to the “VELTINS-Arena” stop. The weather forecast is also positive: around 26 degrees is expected at midday and there is no rain in sight, so that means perfect conditions for an unforgettable concert evening!

An event that inspires

The euphoria surrounding Robbie Williams is great, and not without reason - he has established himself as one of the most successful artists of the last few decades, with over 85 million albums sold worldwide. He started out as the youngest member of Take That and has since made a name for himself as a solo artist. In addition to his well-known hits, the fan community expects both spectacle and the artist's unmistakable stage presence. From November 15, 2023, fans can secure tickets in advance to be part of the spectacle. After Gelsenkirchen, concerts will follow in other cities such as Hanover, Leipzig, Berlin, Munich and Frankfurt, although the journey through Germany will not end until August 10th.

For Gelsenkirchen, Robbie Williams' performance is not only a musical highlight, but also a welcome change that further fuels the anticipation of other big events in the arena, such as Bruce Springsteen and Iron Maiden. On September 6th, the band Pur will also celebrate their 30th anniversary with their own concert. Gelsenkirchen shows what it has to offer, and we are sure: this concert will be on everyone's lips!
