Electric Residence: Techno festival returns to Strünkede Castle!

The anticipation for the event of the year, the “Electric Residence”, is increasing. On Saturday, July 19, 2025, Strünkede Castle in Herne will once again become a hotspot for all techno fans. At this third edition, visitors can expect a very special atmosphere full of pulsating beats and exciting innovations. After a hugely successful first year in 2023, when the event was sold out for weeks, it's now back to the best house, tech house and techno sounds.

From 4:30 p.m. to 1:00 a.m., music lovers can enjoy the beats of the most renowned DJs. In addition to the well-known duo Format:B, Anna Reusch, an up-and-coming artist, will also perform as a headliner. Visitors can also look forward to artists such as Gabrielucifer, Pajane, Janee and Bassqreq, who won the “Electric Residence Contest” and will therefore open the festival with a set. A whole new experience with the “Eat & Dance Area”

An absolute highlight this year is the introduction of the “Eat & Dance Area”, which is intended to make the festival even more open and diverse. Here, guests can choose between various street food stands and a selection of refreshing drinks to round off their festival visit with culinary delights.
