A significant step for recruiting young talent for the NRW police: Today, on August 15, 2025, 38 young women and men from the Oberberg district began their dual studies with the police. The starting signal for this exciting journey came after a successful selection process that left many applicants behind. On Thursday an initial meeting and exchange of information took place at the district police authority. 20 of the new students had the opportunity to gain their first impressions. They received valuable information from the recruitment consultant, which gave them a comprehensive overview of the challenges and opportunities ahead. Two of the future inspectors reported on their first steps and experiences in everyday police work. Here you could literally feel the enthusiasm of the aspiring police officers in the air.
