The archive in the Rhine district of Neuss
The archive itself is not just a place of old documents, but a true treasure trove of regional history. It looks after the history collection for the cities of Dormagen, Jüchen and the municipality of Rommerskirchen and is also responsible for the history of the city of Grevenbroich. Not only official documents are stored here, but also personal documents of citizens who have close ties to the region.
The documents are available for those interested to view in person on five days of the week. Guided tours, open days, lectures and exhibitions are also offered that make local history come alive and tangible. There are special offers for schools that will probably arouse great interest among students.
