The fire brigade was quickly on the scene and was able to put out the fire quickly, but the damage to property is considerable as smoke caused extensive damage. A complete refurbishment of the venue is now on the agenda, meaning that reopening in its usual location is impossible in the near future. However, there is a ray of hope: support from friends, colleagues and neighbors is seen as extremely valuable and brings some hope in these challenging times.

A fresh start at a new address

In order to continue operations, the shop has rented a new space at Löhrstrasse 13; the “Chrissis” bag maker was previously located there. This new address will allow us to continue assembling gift baskets and processing orders. Contact is of course still possible via email and telephone.

Preparations for the upcoming Christmas business are already in full swing, despite the unfortunate situation. The “Gut und Gerne” team is also looking forward to the coming year, which marks the store’s 30th anniversary.
