On the night of Thursday to Friday, July 3, 2025, a serious traffic accident occurred on the A3 near Solingen. A 27-year-old man from Duisburg skidded in his Mercedes in the left lane for unknown reasons. He collided with the Jaguar of a 20-year-old driver from Erkrath, who was in the middle lane, [Bild] reports.
As the news reports, both vehicles skidded across the road as a result of the collision and collided again. The Jaguar overturned while the Mercedes crashed into the right guard rail. The Mercedes driver suffered life-threatening injuries and was immediately taken to hospital. His 20-year-old opponent escaped with minor injuries and also received medical treatment.
