Finally sun and good mood again in Ladbergen! On Tuesday evening, 45 entrepreneurs gathered in bright summer weather to take part in the annual entrepreneur bike tour. This event, which starts in the community's “good room”, is traditionally organized by the entrepreneurial community and the mayor. Holger Rickert, chairman of the community, was pleased with the lively participation and the positive atmosphere.
The tour offers an excellent opportunity to make new contacts and find out about local developments and management plans. “Here you meet like-minded entrepreneurs, which makes it particularly important and exciting,” says Rickert. The group was accompanied by Mayor Torsten Buller, who repeatedly provided interesting insights during the tour.
Stations of the bike tour
Two years ago, on August 8, 2023, the entrepreneurial bike tour took place despite rainy weather. At that time, the group decided to leave the bikes and walk, but this did not prevent the participants from exchanging ideas. In around 1 ½ hours, various points in Ladbergen were visited, reflecting many facets of local life.
- Erste Station: Die Rikschaflotte an der Alten Schulstraße, die sich besonders für Senior:innen als umweltfreundliches Mobilitätsangebot etabliert hat.
- Zweite Station: Ein Neubauvorhaben am Kirchplatz, das 22 Wohneinheiten für sozialen Wohnungsbau schaffen soll.
- Dritte Station: Die Kleiderkammer, die steigenden Bedarf an Kleidung deckt und neue Möglichkeiten für Beratung und Austausch bietet.
- Vierte Station: Eine Baumaßnahme in der Mühlenstraße, bei der Bürgermeister Buller die neue Radverkehrsführung erläuterte.
- Fünfte Station: Der Friedenspark, wo die Umgestaltung des Dorfteiches mit Fokus auf ökologische Lösungen besprochen wurde.
- Sechste Station: Die DRK Kindertagesstätte „Die kleinen Strolche“, die aufgrund des steigenden Bedarfs an Betreuungsplätzen ausgebaut wird.
- Siebte Station: Informationen über den Ausbau der Grundschule für die Ganztagsbetreuung ab dem Schuljahr 2026/2027.
The event concluded with a visit to the Lange department store, where the participants were also informed about the new sales concept of the former Hakmann department store. The event ended with a cozy snack and cold drinks, where there was plenty of space for conversation and exchange.

Such events are not only an excellent opportunity to make new contacts, but also essential for business success.
