On March 27, 2025, an incident occurred in the quiet community of Xanten-Wardt that attracted public attention. At around 3:40 p.m., decorative items and candles were stolen from the “Perlbude” decoration shop by an unknown female person. She is described as a woman with gray, wavy hair who was wearing sunglasses, a black jacket and blue jeans at the time of the crime.
