On Saturday, June 30, 2025, the North Palatinate Oratorio Choir gave an impressive concert in the Paulskirche. This performance was special because it was the first time the choir performed in this historic building since 2018. Under the title “Baroque Impressions”, the choir, under the direction of conductor Stefan Wasser, presented a multifaceted program that emotionally touched the listeners. Wasser placed great emphasis on transmitting energy, passion and emotionality in order to convey the liveliness and enthusiasm of the music, which visibly brought joy to both the choir and the audience. In the Paulskirche, a true jewel for music lovers, works were heard that not only moved the ears but also the hearts of those present. The evening was characterized by a special atmosphere that certainly left a lasting impression on both the singers and the listeners.
Looking forward to Orff's masterpiece
The Bad Kreuznach Concert Society, together with the North Palatinate Oratorio Choir and accompanying project singers, will take on the performance under the direction of Stefan Wasser. The evening's line-up offers a real treat: Gunda Baumgärtner (soprano), Joaquin Asiain (tenor) and Moritz Kugler (baritone) are accompanied by a drum ensemble from the Kurpfalzphilharmonie Heidelberg and two talented pianists. For music enthusiasts, this is a less common event not to be missed.
