Art in the vaults: Captivating member exhibition in Germersheim!

The Germersheim Art Association invites you to the current member exhibition with the promising motto “Art in the Vaults” in the historic armory. Here, old architecture is wonderfully combined with contemporary art, and the vaulted rooms provide a unique backdrop for a variety of artists. This special atmosphere greatly benefits the forward-looking curation, which regularly presents first-class exhibitions with well-known guest artists.

The members' exhibition is organized every two years and offers an exciting platform for regional talent. Current participants include Peter Brauchle from Lustadt and Helga Böbel from Wörth, who will present their works together with other artists. Details about the exact number of exhibits or the thematic focus have not yet been published, but anticipation is already great.

The artists in focus

The exhibits in the exhibition also include works by Peter Brauchle, who was born in Ludwigsburg in 1959 and now lives in Karlsruhe. His artistic career spans four decades, which he shaped from 1979 to 1986 at the Karlsruhe State Academy of Fine Arts under the renowned artist Per Kirkeby. Brauchle is known for his minimalist works, which have already been shown in numerous exhibitions, such as the Galerie Rottloff and the Kunstverein Pforzheim.

His exhibition “aufhocker” presented in 2020 at the Kunstverein Pforzheim is just one of many examples of his active participation in the art scene. Another highlight is his participation in the 2021 group exhibition, which shows the diversity of his artistic approaches and offers a lively insight into his current work. It is exciting to see how he brings his creative spectrum to the Germersheim member exhibition.

Invitation to participate

The art association's members' exhibition not only offers artists the opportunity to show their works, but is also a great event for art lovers and those interested in the region. No one should miss the opportunity to experience art in such a historic setting. Maybe there will be an exciting conversation with the artists themselves.

The exhibitions in the armory are regularly popular and testify to a lively art scene that has established itself in Germersheim. How multi-layered art can be can be seen in every corner and every vault that invites exploration. So if you want to meet creative minds and discover new things, you should definitely take a look at the members' exhibition. The Germersheim Art Association offers a wonderful showcase of regional artists and their possibilities.
