Become a master! HwK Koblenz offers scholarships for young talents

The Koblenz Chamber of Crafts offers young specialists in northern Rhineland-Palatinate exciting support offers that are aimed at specifically expanding their career opportunities. In particular, the Federal Ministry of Education and Research's “Promotion of Talented Vocational Education” has proven to be a valuable component. This program is aimed at talented journeymen under the age of 25 who have successfully completed their training.

The funding is intended to help in particular those who are seeking further qualifications after their training. They can receive financial support of up to 9,135 euros, be it for the master class or other professional training measures. If you are interested, you should act quickly, because the application deadline ends on August 22nd, 2025, while the free places for the admission process will be available from September 1st, 2025.

It's the details that matter

In order to benefit from this funding, certain requirements must be met. Applicants need a successful completion in accordance with the Vocational Training Act or Crafts Code and at least a grade of “good” (1.9 or 87 points). In certain cases, a suggestion from the training company can also be decisive for acceptance into the scholarship. It is important that applicants are not older than 25 at the time of funding, and the financial aid is independent of income and assets.

The funded measures cover numerous further and advanced training opportunities. This includes job-related courses as well as part-time study programs that build on the training you have already completed. In order to apply for funding, the applications must be submitted to the responsible Chamber of Crafts before the first further training measure. A selection process for scholarship positions takes place every year at the end of the year.

Additional offers and IT bonus

A special highlight within the program is the IT bonus, which provides scholarship holders with financial support to purchase a computer in their first year of funding. If the computer is purchased for further training, you can apply for up to 250 euros. Certain criteria must be taken into account: The device must have a screen diagonal of at least 12 inches and may be purchased before the training begins. However, only desktop PCs, notebooks and tablets with physical keyboards are eligible devices - accessories and peripheral devices are excluded from funding.
