The pre-Christmas season has begun and Koblenz's old town is transformed into a sparkling Christmas wonderland. Over 130 festively decorated stands are spread across seven squares and create an inviting atmosphere with tradition and enjoyment. With the Christmas market fromNovember 21, 2025 to January 4, 2026takes place, the city strives to offer all visitors special experiences. 24rhein reports, that the old town market is officially open from today, but on Dead SundayNovember 23rd, remains closed.
Visitors can look forward to a number of highlights. OneArtificial ice rinkon the central square invites you to have fun skating, while on the Josef-Görres-Platz there is a varied stage program with choirs. In addition, entry to the Christmas market is free, so everyone can enjoy the festive atmosphere.
