Former Ehingen high school graduates celebrate an unforgettable Christmas reunion!
On the day before Christmas Eve, December 23rd, 2025, numerous former high school graduates from Ehingen will meet in the local pubs to properly celebrate the Christmas season. The “Ur-Schlecker” event, which has been organized by Tom Breymaier and Nadja Moosmayer since it was founded in 2016, brought the former students to the nostalgic Gasthaus Sonne this year. This location, which is scheduled to exist until 2027, experienced a special evening full of memories and a festive atmosphere.
The meeting began with a shared dinner in the Ochsen restaurant before the celebrations continued in the Gasthaus Sonne and also in the Central-Center cinema. Max Kienzle, operator of the cinema, noted that due to the high number of guests of around 150 people, the celebration was moved to the cinema. “The Central Center offers us the perfect setting for such an event with double capacity and a permanently equipped cloakroom,” explained Kienzle. Swabian reports that DJ Kieffer from Landau also provided the musical accompaniment and thrilled the guests with his mix.
A celebration in a winter atmosphere
Despite the cold weather and light snow, the people of Ehingen did not let themselves be stopped from streaming into the city. The atmosphere was joyful and festive; The guests were consistently satisfied and enjoyed the event in both locations. “These meetings are a great opportunity to meet old friends and celebrate the Christmas season together,” said one participant.
In addition, other Christmas celebrations took place in EHingen. Ur-Schlecker Eventmanagement organized the largest Christmas party in the city, which was held with various DJs in the marquee at the Viehmarkt. The after-Christmas market party on December 21st attracted numerous party guests, while the traditional ABI meeting on December 23rd also brought together many alumni. The DJ UNICORN created a great atmosphere for the former students of all years that evening. PlanetAllgäu emphasizes that a mother's ticket rule applies to admission from the age of 16 so that younger guests can also be there.
Connection for years
Such a meeting not only ensures fun and a good mood, but also a lasting connection that goes beyond school. Platforms like Abitreff offer a valuable opportunity for graduates to network and organize class reunions. Members can register free of charge and enjoy a variety of functions that promote exchange and contact maintenance. The community has existed since 2003 and brings high school students from Germany together.
With this in mind, it remains to be hoped that the Gasthaus Sonne can continue to be a popular location for the “Ur-Schlecker” event next year, as Tom Breymaier wishes. There is great anticipation for next year and the tradition of celebrating old friendships will certainly continue.
