Great fun for the whole family: The Bremen Town Musicians live!

On Sunday, November 9th, 2025, a very special experience awaits the Breton families in Ludwigshafen: The SAP Symphony Orchestra will bring the new version of the popular fairy tale “The Bremen Town Musicians” to the stage. The event will take place at 4 p.m. in the Heinrich Pesch Haus, Frankenthaler Straße 229. The event promises to be a musical stage adventure for young and old, inspired by the classic tales of the Brothers Grimm. According to the RNZ The duration of the performance is around 60 minutes and there is no intermission.

Tickets are already available and cost 25 euros per family, including a maximum of two accompanying persons. Tickets can be purchased conveniently online at www.familienbildung-ludwigshafen.de/ events be acquired. What is particularly exciting is the concept that musicians not only make music, but also take on different roles. A narrator leads through the story and the animal heroes interact with the audience in a charming way.

Invitation to the whole family

The event is aimed at families with children aged four and over. The little guests can look forward to it, as children from the audience are selected to take part on percussion instruments. This not only ensures interaction, but also brings a lively surprise to the stage.
The program is designed to introduce children to the world of music and classic fairy tales in a playful way, which have still lost none of their magic.

In addition to cultural entertainment, Ludwigshafen also has a social responsibility. As part of the International Day against Violence against Women, which has been celebrated since 1981, the city of Ludwigshafen is also planning a series of actions this year. The highlight is a demonstration on Friday, November 21, 2025, through the city center. All citizens, including men, are warmly invited to take part in the events.

Raising awareness for violence prevention

This series of events, which covers topics such as sexual harassment, discrimination and violence, is supported by a working group against violence against women and various cultural and educational institutions. Particular attention is paid to preventive services for girls, which, however, must be registered in advance. According to information from the City of Ludwigshafen The demonstration begins at 2 p.m. on Europaplatz in front of the Stadthaus Nord. Mayor Jutta Steinruck will then welcome the participants. The route leads through Rathausplatz, Ludwigsplatz, Ludwigstrasse and Bismarckstrasse to Berliner Platz, where speeches are planned at several locations.

The cultural events in Ludwigshafen show once again how important it is to promote both entertainment and social awareness. Whether with family-friendly fairy tales or campaigns against violence, the city of Ludwigshafen proves that commitment and joy of life go hand in hand.
