On August 3rd, the Alzey fire department opened its doors to this year's open day, and the event was a complete success. Alexander Frangel, Christian Schwarz and Jürgen Mayer were even awarded gold medals of honor for 35 years, and Andreas Kormannshaus was appointed the new group leader.
