Andrea Kiewel, known as the cheerful presenter of “ZDF- Fernsehengarten”, celebrated her 60th birthday this month. The time had come on June 10, 2025, but she didn't celebrate in Germany or Tel Aviv, but rather enjoyed a relaxing day in Spain. As the Mercury reports, on her special day she jumped into a hotel pool, treated herself to two espressos and visited the impressive Sagrada Família in Barcelona.
Unfortunately, Kiewel had to cancel an appearance on “ZDF- Fernsehengarten” on June 15, 2025. The reason: Because of the ongoing Middle East conflict, the airspace in Israel was closed. Since she now lives in Tel Aviv and regularly travels to Mainz, she was unable to get to the show due to the blocked flight connections.
