Deidesheim, Deutschland - On July 6, 2025, the 3f German Museum of Photo, Film- und Tel. Doors to the open day. From 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. there is the possibility to immerse yourself in the fascinating world of media technology. Entry to the exhibition, which includes more than 5,000 exhibits, is free of charge.
Visitors can look forward to exciting free tours at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. Another highlight is the demonstrations of professional video technology from the 1980s that promise pure nostalgia. Film screenings are also planned to share the enthusiasm for the moving pictures.

The 3f-Museum in Deidesheim, which is located at Weinstraße 33, is considered one of the largest collections in Europe. On an area of 400 m², visitors can discover the development of photography from the beginning to modern professional camera. The museum is known for its combination of photo, film and television, with numerous technical details and rare exhibits.
The regular opening times are Thursday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Saturday from 2pm to 6pm and Sunday and on public holidays from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. The entrance fee has been € 4.00 for adults since April 2024, while visitors pay € 3.50 with the Rheinpfalzcard. The museum is also available by phone or email for inquiries.
For a safe parking, it is advisable to use the parking lot at Deidesheim train station, from where you can get through the old town to the museum in about five minutes.
