Iconic tributes: Open-air festival at the Pauluskirche attracts everyone!
On July 4th and 5th, 2025, the Pauluskirche in Pirmasens will be the venue for the fourth open-air festival of the Paulus (Kupa) cultural initiative. At this special event, visitors can look forward to a musical experience that brings the best tribute acts to life. Loud Rhine Palatinate The audience can expect performances from “The Music of Queen”, “Steven Pitman” (Elvis tribute) and the Roxette tribute band ROX, among others.
The festival takes place in a picturesque, green setting that creates an exuberant atmosphere. There is great anticipation for the musical performances and the organizers have put together a colorful program. Admission to the event begins at 6:00 p.m., giving guests plenty of time to prepare for the upcoming highlights.
Roxette highlight on the first evening
The focus on Saturday is particularly on the Dutch band ROX, who became famous on the SAT1 show “The Tribute”. Their perfect tribute to the legendary pop and rock band Roxette awaits you from 9 p.m. The band has some of the most famous hits of the 80s and 90s in its repertoire, including “The Look”, “Listen to Your Heart”, “Joyride” and “It Must Have Been Love”. These songs promise an unforgettable experience for fans who can sing and dance along.
The opening act “The Gentle Jackets” opens the evening at 7:00 p.m. with a performance on a high level. With their mix of all-time favorites and over 40 years of stage experience, Ralf Maxstadt, Michael Bixler, Bodo Bode and Dietmar Bäuerle get the audience in the mood. Thomas Girard also enriches the performance with saxophone and flute. They also promise a “big cinema with a small cast” and enchant the audience with their live performance. Ticket information and prices
The ticket prices for the festival are also interesting: advance tickets cost 17 euros plus advance booking fee and are available both in SAM's wine gallery and online www.pfalzshow.de available. If you decide spontaneously, you can purchase tickets for 20 euros at the box office.
So if you don't have any plans for the first weekend in July, you shouldn't miss this musical festival. The Paulus Cultural Initiative has put together a great line-up and with the green backdrop at the Pauluskirche it will be a very special experience.
