Missing 13-year-old from Ludwigshafen: Police are asking for information!

Since Tuesday morning, July 8, 2025, there has been no trace of a 13-year-old student from Ludwigshafen. The alleged abductee left her home address around 10:50 a.m. and was last seen on Adolf-Kolping-Strasse. Since then, her whereabouts have been unknown and despite intensive police measures, she has not yet been found. So far there is no evidence that points to a specific danger for the young girl. This reports MRN News.

The 13-year-old is described as follows: At the time of her disappearance, she was wearing black jeans, a dark top and a long black knitted coat. A striking feature is her nose piercing, which is decorated with a gold bow. Her footwear consisted of blue and black Nike TN shoes. With a height of 1.66 m and long brown hair, she is easy to recognize. The police have also asked for the public's help and are looking for witnesses who can provide information. They are requested to contact the Ludwigshafen criminal investigation service on 0621 96323312. If you find the young person, the emergency service is available on 110.

The search for missing people

Missing person cases, especially among young people, pose major challenges for the police. This not only affects Ludwigshafen, but also many cities in Germany. Loud WDR, five to six young people are reported missing in Düsseldorf every day, many of whom are known as “endurance runners”. These are often young people who regularly run away from home.

In most cases, parents are worried at short notice and report their children, who may simply be out and about. In particular, children under the age of 13 are less frequently represented in the reports - such a case occurs about once a month. If a child goes missing, the police take immediate action, including checking contact points and speaking to parents. The longer a child remains missing, the greater the concern becomes and the challenge for the police increases.

In Ludwigshafen, officials are hoping for the public's help in finding the missing girl as quickly as possible. The urgency and concern are great, and any clues could be crucial to ensuring their well-being.
