Basketball fans in the region can rejoice! The starting signal for the new season of the Second Basketball Bundesliga ProB will be given on September 27, 2025. The Ahorn Camp Baskets start their season with an away game against the TSV Oberhaching Tropics. Kick-off is at 7 p.m. and the team will do everything in its power to get the main round off to the best possible start. Speyer Courier reports that the Baskets will face a total of thirteen teams this season. The first home game will take place a week later, on October 3rd at 6 p.m., in the Nordhalle against BG Leitershofen.

The aim of the upcoming matches is to secure a place in the promotion playoffs, which represents a real challenge for the players. The Ahorn Camp Baskets will play the last main round game on March 28, 2026 against the Dresden Titans, who have waived a ProA license.
