On September 20th and 21st, 2025, karate enthusiasts in Trier and Konz can look forward to: Takafumi “Taka” Nakayama, a renowned Japanese karate master with 7th Dan in Shorin-ryu, will teach various techniques and strategies as part of the international seminar series “Taka Tour 2025”. The weekend will be filled with a varied program. Sunday continues in Konz, where participants can take part in the seminar in the TG hall at Sportpark Konz from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and from 12:30 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Among other things, efficient soft block techniques and how to use the Bo, a traditional long stick from Yamani-Ryu Kobudo, are taught. These techniques are not only important for self-defense, but also promote general fitness and concentration.
