Free trial course: Magic harp for children in Worms!

On Saturday, November 15th, music-loving children aged five to seven can look forward to an exciting day at the music school at Valckenbergstrasse 18. The music school invites you to immerse yourself in the enchanting world of the magic harp - and best of all: the trial course is free! The event takes place from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. in room 1.10.

A special highlight will be the presentation by Angelika Forman, who, as a qualified music teacher with a major in harp, is ideally qualified to introduce the young participants to the instrument. This lovingly designed introduction to making music shows that the magic harp is also an exciting choice for adults. The way it is played is so simple that you can learn it without any prior knowledge of music or music - similar to “Painting by Numbers”. In this way, the children quickly experience their first experiences of success when making music.

Musical education for the little ones

The Lucie Kölsch Music School not only offers this introductory course, but also offers structured group lessons for children aged five and over. A one-year course is intended to lay the foundation for musical development and support the little ones on their path to musicality. Learning an instrument in early childhood has numerous advantages for the cognitive and social development of little ones, confirms the Musikschule von Herzen.

Music not only promotes intelligence, but allows children to express feelings and emotions. Playing in orchestras or bands strengthens teamwork and ensures social integration. In addition, making music not only brings joy, but can also improve your mood and help you relax.

Just give it a listen!

For parents who are wondering whether it is the right time for their children to learn an instrument: Children are ideally receptive from around the age of 6! What is important is the child's interest and a gentle introduction through musical games and singing, which is often offered in early musical education. However, learning an instrument can also present time challenges as it requires commitment and planning.

If you would like to find out more about the magic harp and the associated training, you can take a look at the Magic Harp website. There you will find a wealth of information about the magic harp project as well as the possibilities for musical support.

So take advantage of the opportunity and bring your child to this unique taster course on November 15th - maybe your child's heart will beat for music from now on!
