The Worms franchise, an integral part of the video game world, has delighted gamers for more than two decades with its unique concept that requires strategic thinking and a healthy dose of humor. Originally published in 1999, brings Worms Armageddon the nostalgia of the retro playground on modern consoles and recently celebrated its 25th anniversary with the Anniversary Edition.
Developed by Digital Eclipse and published by Team17, the Anniversary Edition brought the game to high-end consoles such as the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S. New classics in the update
The Backworms Compatible Update adds three legendary titles to the series:
- Worms (Super NES)
- Worms (Genesis/Mega Drive)
- Worms World Party (Game Boy Advance)
In addition, the developers have fulfilled the community's wish and integrated the activated cheat code “Boggy B”, which unlocks all content. This means that the fun and exploration of the extensive world of worms is limitless.
