In Zweibrücken, the community of residents stands up and voices their displeasure. After the recently completed construction site at Hilgardhaus, there are still many barriers in the area that are no longer authorized. He noted that the barriers were removed the last weekend in October, but there were still detour signs in the opposite direction until at least October 31st. “I wanted to point this out to the public order office, but I couldn’t reach anyone,” said Lauer. This approach significantly hindered through traffic.
Modern traffic lights and pedestrian safety
The city administration assured that the road was opened on October 30. The remaining signs and barriers were simply pushed aside. These problems are due to the traffic safety provider's limited human resources. On the positive side, however, the old traffic light was replaced by a more modern, less fault-prone replacement system.

Two of the firefighters suffered burns to their hands and faces and had to be taken to the hospital. Fortunately, none of the injuries are life-threatening. Fire Chief John Esposito said everyone affected is awake, responsive and on the mend.
