Flower garden festival in Bexbach: fun, music and moonlight market await!

A festival for the whole family is coming up in Bexbach: The Flower Garden Festival 2025 will take place on June 13th and 14th around the youth traffic school. The event starts on Friday, June 13th at 5 p.m. and offers a colorful program of music, club activities and activities for children. The moonlight market is particularly popular, as it features art, craft and culinary stalls parallel to the festival. Here you can browse in a cozy atmosphere and maybe get a bargain or two. As sol.de reports, the festival will be officially opened at 6 p.m. by Mayor Christian Prech with a draft beer tapping.

But that's not enough! The evening will be accompanied musically by the Zumba group from TV Oberbexbach and from 8 p.m. the Saarland band “Die Konstellen” will warm up the celebrants. There are plenty of child-friendly activities for younger visitors, including painting and craft activities as well as a bouncy castle. And if you're looking for a bit of variety, you can find out about trial flights and pilot training at the Aero Club Bexbach.

A mix of fun and action

Saturday begins comfortably at 12 noon with a morning pint and continues with numerous participation activities from various clubs that present themselves here. The children's program will be refreshed again on Saturday: In addition to the already familiar offers such as crafts and face painting, there will also be water games. Another highlight is team building with SG Bexbach, which invites children to football from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. As can be read on bexbach.de, the fire brigade and youth fire brigade are also actively involved: at 1 p.m. they show a firefighting exercise and technical assistance follows at 5 p.m.

The stage program on Saturday will be really exciting from 3 p.m. The KG “Die Blätsch” and TuS Höchen amaze the audience with their dance performances. At 3.30 p.m. the clown theater “Augustine Putzmunter” will bring laughter and from 5.30 p.m. various groups, including the hip-hop teams from TV Bexbach and “Polewerk by Nelly Bach”, will perform. The crowning conclusion of the evening is the live music by the band “Firma Holunder” at 7:30 p.m.

Fireworks for the senses and farewell with light and music

And then there is the laser show! From around 11 p.m., DJ MarBlo (Marvin Blohn) pulls out all the stops and ends the festival with a spectacular show. A must for everyone is the “Flotte Lotte” tourist train, which shuttles between the various stations in the flower garden. The many hard-working helpers and volunteer organizations who make this event possible deserve a big thank you. The city of Bexbach wishes you lots of fun and good entertainment at this festival!
