Current Corona numbers for Dithmarschen: Is the situation stable?

The situation surrounding the coronavirus will remain a current topic in November 2025. While no new corona cases were reported in Germany on November 9th, the situation in Schleswig-Holstein, especially in the Dithmarschen district, appears to be relatively stable. According to news.de, there have only been three new infections in the last seven days. The 7-day incidence is currently 2.2 per 100,000 inhabitants. A positive image, but one that should not lead to complacency.

If you look at the overall situation in Schleswig-Holstein, a total of 1,205,997 people tested positive for Covid-19. The age groups between 35 and 59 years are particularly affected, where the highest number of infections with 476,296 cases was registered.

Age distribution of infections

Age group Number of cases Percentage of population
0-04 years 29,684 22.69%

15-34 years 349,420 55.09%

As the World Health Organization states, most people who become infected with Covid-19 are not seriously affected. The most common symptoms remain fever, cough and fatigue. Of particular concern, however, is that some patients may develop serious symptoms such as difficulty breathing or chest pain. It is important to seek medical help immediately if any serious symptoms occur.

The vaccination situation in Germany is also optimistic. Current data shows that 76.3% of the total population has basic immunization and 77.9% have received at least one vaccination. According to corona-in-zahlen.de, a total of 188,244,457 vaccine doses had been administered by April 8, 2023. In recent weeks, vaccination numbers have stabilized, which means a certain level of security for the population.

  • Zweitimpfungen: 63.578.532

Regardless of the stable numbers, it is crucial to continue to pay attention. Any newly emerging virus or mutated variant can quickly lead to a change in the situation. It is therefore important to take your health seriously, get vaccinated and pay attention to your own symptoms.
