TSV Altenholz celebrates a clear derby victory: 35:26 against DHK Flensborg!

An exciting derby in the Edgar-Meschkat-Halle on November 8th, 2025 created a great atmosphere of celebration among the fans of TSV Altenholz. The team impressed with a clear 35:26 victory over DHK Flensborg and was able to celebrate their fourth win in their fourth home game. In front of 550 spectators, the Altenholzers showed a strong performance, which was particularly supported by the outstanding saves from goalkeeper Tom Landgraf.

Landgraf, who stood out right at the start of the game, saved the guests' first four shots and made a total of eleven saves by halftime. Coach Torge Greve was also visibly satisfied and praised both the defensive and goalkeeping performance after the game. “We worked well together as a team and I am proud of the clear victory,” said Greve.

The course of the game

Already in the first half, Altenholz led 13:6 after 15 minutes. But a brief loss of concentration brought the lead to 20:16 at the break. The second half started strong again and Altenholz was able to maintain the lead despite Flensburg's aggressive defense. Between the 43rd and 52nd minutes, Flensburg even failed to score a single goal, which finally cemented the decision in favor of Altenholz. It was Jesse Dahmke who increased the lead to 26:20 in the 49th minute.

With the final whistle the final score was 35:26 and TSV Altenholz was able to celebrate its deserved victory. “It’s important to win a game like this clearly in the end,” emphasized Greve after the game.
