The Möllner Museum in the Historical Town Hall will open the doors to a fascinating solo exhibition by the artist Frank Hoppmann next Saturday, August 16th. The vernissage begins at 6 p.m. in the Ratsdiele, Am Markt 12, and promises to be a special experience for all art and satire lovers, because the artist will be present in person. The exhibition runs until September 30th and allows visitors to admire around 70 of his works, including large-format portraits of prominent personalities.
The impressive portraits depicting figures such as King Charles III deserve special attention. and show the humorist Loriot. A highlight of the exhibition is the presentation of a series of 15 works that specifically deal with the topic of Till Eulenspiegel. Hoppmann's style is a successful mix of satirical depth and comic elements, which makes his works both entertaining and thoughtful. Admission to the opening event is free, but registration by email to info@museum-moelln.de is recommended. So that everyone can get an idea of Hoppmann's artistic oeuvre, the museum's opening times are Monday to Friday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Entrance fees are 5 euros for adults and 4.50 euros for spa card holders, while children up to 17 years of age have free entry.
