Musical fireworks: Salut Salon delights at the charity festival!

The visitors experienced a musical fireworks display Rotary Summertime Benefit Festival, which took place in the sold-out exhibition hall of the ancora Marina in Neustadt. Around 800 enthusiastic listeners came to experience the sonorous performance of the Hamburg quartet Salut Salon, who created a great atmosphere with their new program “Heimat”. The proceeds from the evening will benefit the Ostholstein Child Protection Association and the Children on Butterfly Wings e.V. association.

The concert was organized by the Rotary Club Neustadt-Ostsee, the ancora Marina team and many volunteers. Oliver Seiter, managing director of ancora Marina, warmly welcomed the guests and thanked the sponsors, which also include the Nittritz construction company and Tiefbau Nittritz. Rotary President Thorsten Schmidt was visibly impressed by the great response and the great atmosphere in the hall.

A program full of emotions

The Salut Salon ensemble, consisting of two violins, a cello and a piano, is often referred to as “Hamburg’s most charming cultural export”. With their new program “Heimat” they mark the end of a trilogy that previously dealt with the themes of “love” and “dreams”. In this program, the topic of home is examined in various facets: from tradition to feelings to sounds from different cultures. Known for their diverse repertoire, which combines classical music with comedy and tango, the musicians ensured an unforgettable evening.

The performance by Mariya Filippova from Ukraine was particularly touching, as her performance addressed the insecurities and tensions of today. Another highlight was the amusing performance of Joke Flecijn, who created an impressive fireball with her bow.

A successful event for a good cause

The concert lasted a total of two hours and ended with great applause from the audience. The musicians from Salut Salon took time to sign their CDs and present their own aid project.
