The “Feuerstein” restaurant recently opened its doors in Fahrenkrug. The Bolat family, who are behind this new gastronomy project, not only want to serve delicious food, but also continue a matter close to the heart of their father Nuret Bolat. The experienced restaurateur worked in various Feuerstein restaurants in northern Germany for over 20 years before bringing a personal touch to the new restaurant.

“My father actually wanted to retire, but after a week he decided to start again,” reports Mediha Bolat. The new restaurant is located on Kirchwegskamp, ​​in the premises of the former Italian Ristorante Bella Casa. Here the dining room has been newly renovated and the restaurant is now presented with modern lettering and a new logo - the old dinosaur is history.

A wide range of offerings and a welcoming atmosphere

The menu is a true gourmet's paradise, with more than 20 different pizza variations, a selection of fish and meat dishes, salads and vegetarian options. For younger guests there is a special children's menu, everything freshly prepared. And older people are also catered for: the large cocktail menu and various long drinks are intended to attract younger guests.

With around 70 seats indoors and another 40 on the sunny outdoor terrace, the overall atmosphere of the restaurant is appealing and inviting. Additional play options in the garden offer the children a little paradise while parents can relax and enjoy their time. The “Feuerstein” is open daily from 12 p.m. to 10 p.m. – enough time to discover this new gastronomic insider tip.

The opening of “Feuerstein” comes at a time when the catering industry in Germany is experiencing an upswing. After the difficult times during the corona pandemic, the industry has visibly recovered.
