This news brings a breath of fresh air to the gastronomic scene, as the former location of the “Wonder waffle” waffle shop is now dedicated to juicy burgers and more. The closure of the waffle shop has created a great opportunity for Hassan to bring his vision to life and delight residents with delicious food.

But what exactly can guests expect in the “Burgerli”? The menu is diverse with offerings such as burgers, bowls, ice cream and the popular Buffalo wings, i.e. chicken legs with a special sauce. Hassan sees a clear gap in this market: “There is no independent burger shop in Rotenburg yet,” he explains. The demand is certainly there, especially among those looking for a snack in the evening or late at night. The idea behind it is to create availability comparable to that in Bremen in order to offer local patriots a new enjoyment.

Passion instead of gold digging

The prices are kept quite moderate. “It won’t really cost more than 20 to 30 euros for a burger dish,” promises Hassan, who emphasizes that he’s not primarily interested in big profits, but rather in his passion for gastronomy. In addition to his work in the restaurant, which will be intensive during the initial phase, he remains active in the construction industry. The kitchen operation will therefore be characterized by inexpensive but tasty food that meets the tastes of the guests.

Although Hassan has already advertised vacancies in advance, he is fortunate to have already found permanent staff who will support him in setting up the new restaurant. The restaurant is currently under construction and an exact opening date is still uncertain as it depends on delivery times.
