Beware of fake tickets! How to secure your place at the Ravennaschlucht Christmas market!

In the picturesque Black Forest, anticipation of one of the most beautiful Christmas markets in Germany is in full swing. However, there are also uninvited guests in the form of ticket fraudsters who are after the high number of visitors. The organizer of the Ravennaschlucht Christmas market has urgently warned against counterfeit tickets that are offered on internet platforms at overpriced prices. In recent years, tickets have been sold out before the market opened, and the risk of falling for fake tickets is still high, according to Hochschwarzwald Tourismus GmbH.

The official presale start for tickets will take place on October 14, 2025, at 1 p.m., exclusively via the Hochschwarzwald Tourismus website. The standard ticket prices will increase by one euro each compared to the previous year. A ticket for arrival before 4 p.m. costs 6.50 euros, while the ticket for arrival after 4 p.m. costs 8.50 euros. Admission remains free for children and young people up to 15 years of age.

Important information about the Christmas market

The event will take place over a total of four Advent weekends from November 28th to December 21st, 2025. The exact market times are:

  • Freitags: 15 bis 21 Uhr
  • Samstags: 14 bis 21 Uhr
  • Sonntags: 14 bis 20 Uhr

With their tickets, visitors have the opportunity to stay on site for around two hours. Due to the special location of the market in the Ravenna Gorge, capacities are severely limited in order to avoid overcrowding. This makes it all the more important to take care of timely and original tickets. Tickets will no longer be sold on site on the day of the event, so those interested should secure their tickets in advance.

Numbering and security of tickets

A warning that should be taken seriously: counterfeit tickets do not guarantee entry to the market. Last year, some tickets were sold online for three times the price. The spokeswoman for Hochschwarzwald Tourismus GmbH urgently reminds you that all information and ticket sales take place exclusively via the official website. This way, visitors can be sure that they will not suffer any financial losses due to counterfeit tickets.

To kick off the Christmas market, the lights will be lit on the viaduct of the Höllentalbahn on November 28, 2025 - a magnificent spectacle that will certainly attract many to the Ravenna Gorge. So be warned and stay vigilant so that the anticipation of the magical Christmas market is not spoiled by fraud.
