Dramatic raid in Baden-Baden: Video shows the police operation!
A serious strike against organized crime was carried out in Baden-Baden and Waiblingen on November 13, 2025. A raid, orchestrated by the Baden-Baden public prosecutor's office, mobilized federal police, customs and tax investigators. The crackdown was carried out both on Lange Straße in Baden-Baden and in a sushi bar on Scheuerngasse in Waiblingen. The operation was part of the ongoing investigation by the joint investigation team called “Acetone”, which focuses on combating international crime networks. The video of the dramatic atmosphere in Baden-Baden is also impressive evidence of the intensity of the measure, as Good News 4 reports.
The raid in Waiblingen was carried out shortly before 6 p.m. Officers, some even wearing balaclavas, searched the sushi bar and caused a stir in the area. This operation shows that the authorities are determined to take action against illegal activities and connections that reach into international structures. As ZVW reports, the raid is by no means an isolated case, but rather part of a broad initiative that is connected to the “Joint Investigation Group Aceton”.
Investigations on a large scale
The extensive raid is not isolated, but rather part of an overarching effort to combat smuggling networks in Germany. On the same day, attacks broke out in several federal states, with more than 500 federal police forces, including the elite GSG 9 unit, active in North Rhine-Westphalia and Baden-Württemberg. These raids are the result of international investigations coordinated by Europol, among others, with German officials targeting an Iraqi-Kurdish network. As t-online reports, there are outstanding European arrest warrants against the suspects, which were issued by a French court.
In recent years in particular, the tragedy in the region has grown unmistakably, with 72 migrants having already lost their lives crossing the English Channel this year. The smugglers who are responsible for such dangerous crossings sometimes demand unimaginable sums of between 2,500 and 10,000 euros per person. Public attention to these issues has increased, and the current raids should be seen not only as a preventive measure, but also as a signal to all those involved: law enforcement authorities will not be deterred and are prepared to take decisive action against the structures that enable such crimes.
The preceding events and the intensity of the searches make it clear that the fight against international smuggling networks will continue to be intensified. Citizens can rest assured that authorities are working vigorously to find solutions to combat crime in all its facets.
