Things will get really exciting in Bad Saulgau today, July 17, 2025! Visitors celebrate the Bächtlefest for five days, a highlight in the summer calendar in this region. The city center will be transformed into a pulsating festival area with a colorful program for young and old until July 21st. The first festival guests can already look forward to reduced fares in the amusement park, which opens today from 4 p.m. The official opening of the festival will take place at 7 p.m. in the festival tent by Stadtmusik Bad Saulgau, and the mayor Raphael Osmakowski-Miller will usher in tradition and conviviality with the tapping of the barrel. The Bächtlefest is special this year because it hosts the 55th state meeting of the historical vigilante groups and city guards of Württemberg-Hohenzollern. - Samstag, 19. Juli: Der Tag beginnt mit einem historischen Handwerker- und Bauernmarkt und später erwartet die Besucher eine große Serenade und ein Synchron-Feuerwerk.
- Sonntag, 20. Juli: Ökumenischer Festgottesdienst, gefolgt von einem Festzug der historischen Bürgerwehren und musikalischen Darbietungen im Festzelt.
- Montag, 21. Juli: Großer historischer Festumzug mit über 3000 Teilnehmern inklusive blumengeschmückten Festwagen und verschiedenen Musikkapellen.
