However, a later goal from Jebens and Trummeter put the hosts in the lead to 59:54 by the 37th minute.

But luck wasn't on TSV's side. Aschaffenburg equalized to 61:61 with a three-point throw from Haller and made the final decision 61:64 with the last throw, which came with the final siren. This means that Breitengüßbach remains in second place in the table, level on points with Leipzig, but they now have to accept a one-win gap to the table leaders from Weimar.

Statistics and outlook
