Erdinger Jagafest: Wild enjoyment and curvaceous sounds in the heart of Erding!

On Friday, August 15, 2025, the popular Jagafest will be celebrated again in the picturesque Erding Farmhouse Museum. Organized by Erding District Hunting Association, the event is now in its eleventh year inviting young and old to experience the fascination of nature and hunting.

From 2 p.m. to 10 p.m., visitors can immerse themselves in the world of hunting culture. The food is a highlight: Inside you will be treated to delicious grilled game specialties and homemade dishes. For the thirsty there is a selection Erdinger beer specialties as well as Austrian wines that perfectly round off the culinary delights.

A celebration for the whole family

The Jagafest is aimed not only at nature enthusiasts, hunters and fishermen, but at the entire population. A special treat for little visitors is the Wildmobile, which not only shows exciting specimens but also has coloring books and information material. In this way, young children are also introduced to the topics of nature and the environment in a playful way.

Musical entertainment is provided by the hunting horn brass group District hunting association Erding also has the popular brass band “12 Hoibe Blasn”, which invites you to sing along and sway. The hunting culture is lived and celebrated here to the fullest.

Another highlight should have been a bird of prey demonstration, which was supposed to take place from 4 p.m. Unfortunately, the veterinary office has banned its use due to high temperatures above 30 degrees.
