Young talent course in Erding/Freising: Clubs urgently wanted!
In the Erding and Freising region there is a lively interest in further promoting young talent in table tennis. The Bavarian Table Tennis Association is looking for a suitable table tennis club that is willing to make its hall available for an upcoming junior training course. The initiative aims not only to discover talent, but also to actively contribute to the development of young athletes in the area. So reported bttv.de that the course could take place on several dates between November 15th and 23rd.
We are looking for a hall with enough space for 8 to 10 tables. In addition to using the hall without additional fees, a time frame of 4.5 hours is also required, which includes two training sessions and a short break. Sparring partners would be an advantage in order to offer the young athletes optimal training conditions. Unfortunately, there have been no long-term commitments from the region, which makes the search for a suitable host all the more important. The regulatory fees that arise in this context should be invested directly in the promotion of young talent.
Events in table tennis
Gaming operations in the region will continue in the following week. There are several youth games coming up on Saturday, October 11th, while the senior teams are also hunting for points. Here is an overview of the upcoming games:
| Date | home team | visiting team | league |
|---|---|---|---|
| October 10, 2025, 7:30 p.m | Red and white Klettham-Erding | TTC Freising-Lerchenfeld III | 10 BKA E |
| October 10, 2025, 8:00 p.m | TSV Isen III | TTC Freising-Lerchenfeld V | 14 BKB E |
| October 10, 2025, 8:15 p.m | TTC Freising-Lerchenfeld IV | TSV Erding 1862 IV | 6 BKB E |
| October 10, 2025, 8:15 p.m | TTC Freising-Lerchenfeld II | TSV Vilsbiburg | 12 BL E |
These numerous events make it clear that table tennis is very popular in the region and that there is definitely potential for future talent. Potential organizers for the youth training course are therefore in demand in order to create the best conditions for young sports talent.
Commitment to the future
Those responsible emphasize that the funds for possible compensation should flow into youth development. This means that clubs in the region not only have the opportunity to present their own excellent work in the youth sector, but also to actively participate in the development of future table tennis stars. Interested clubs can contact Markus Baumgärtner directly to establish a partnership and make a contribution to promoting young talent.
It remains to be seen whether a suitable club can be found quickly that will open its doors for the courses. What is certain, however, is that there is a strong desire for a lively sports community in the region - and not just in table tennis!
